Residence Theme

During my stay I will work on different projects. All my planned projects will be under the topic of culture, cross culture relations, identity and refer to the main theme of 2014 Soulangh Art Residence program focusing on the aboriginal people named Siraya. The artists should create artworks related to this race and its culture,so that they can build some kind of the communication between different cultures,Siraya's and yours. The Siraya people settle once mainly in the Tainan area. The name Taiwan came from there langauge

Residenzthema

Während meines Aufenthalts werde ich an verschiedenen Projekten arbeiten. Alle meine geplanten Projekte haben als Schlüsselwörter  Kultur, Cross Culture Beziehungen, Identität und werden sich auf das Hauptthema des Soulangh Art Residency-Programm 2014 mit Schwerpunkt auf die Ureinwohnergruppe der Sirayas beziehen. Die Künstler/innen sollen sich während ihres Auftenhalts Kunstwerke kreieren die die Kulturen verbinden und eine Art der Kommunikation herzustellen zwischen den verschiedenen Kulturen, der Kultur der Siraya und der eigenen Kultur. Die Siraya besiedeln vor allem die Ebenen und die Küste um Tainan. Der Name Taiwan stammt aus ihrer Sprache
